Cobble Hill Split Level
The owners of this Carroll Gardens home were looking for simplicity but with a little spunk. The design proved that simplicity does not mean austerity and that a modern look is best when playful and colorful. A sunken basement area, a visual liability, turned out to be be the best feature of the garden. Designed as a dining area flanked with double row of clipped Boxwoods it offers a great retreat in the evening.
